          Ca Impacts Phosphorus Recovery in Form of Struvite Crystallization in the Wastewater[Sep 03, 2019]

          The Ecology Pollution Group in Wuhan Botanical Garden investigated phosphorus recovery and quality of crystals obtained from synthetic supernatant with varying Ca/Mg ratio through batch experiments. They found that Ca impacted phosphorus recovery in form of struvite crystallization in the wastewater.

          Scientists Achieve Optical Power Domain Non-orthogonal Multiple Access for Visible Light Communications[Sep 03, 2019]

          A research team led by Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have worked with optical power domain (OPD)-NOMA scheme for visible light communications (VLC). They found that OPD-NOMA offered improved performance in terms of the average bit error rate (BER) compared to conventional NOMA using the same driver circuit with a limited gain-bandwidth product.

          Researchers from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden described two new tribes of Lauraceae, Caryodaphnopsideae and Neocinnamomeae. They also updated the compositions of other four tribes Cassytheae, Cinnamomeae, Cryptocaryeae, and Hypodaphnideae, based on the phylogenetic framework and phylogenetically conservative traits.
